Description

Under the supervision of the Clinical Nutrition Manager, this Dietitian is responsible for food service tasks and responsibilities as follows:Menu development, designing paper menus, and implementing new menus.Works with Executive Chef, Chief Clinical Dietitian, and Clinical Nutrition Manager on various Food Service tasks and nutrition in-services.Updates Nutrition Analysis Database.Works on disaster menus, holiday menus, and downtime procedures.Works with purchasing to update food items.Works with Dietitians on therapeutic diets.Works on the cafeteria/nutrient database projects.Works with allergies.Works with all things Computrition.Assists with the supervision of cooks (ex: ensuring proper portions are being used).Communicates with and works as a team member, interacting with food service personnel, cooks, nurses, physicians, patients, and other health care team members.Participates in departmental activities, including performance improvement projects.Salary Range: $38.47-50.71 HourlyQualifications

Required:Registered Dietitian.Attention to detail and excellent communication skills.Teamwork mentality.Preferred:At least 1 year of working experience as a Dietitian in a hospital setting.Experience in Computrition or other Food Service Software.
