Business Systems Manager
to join us in advancing the industry forward.We are seeking an experienced Manager of Web Development to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Shopify/Hydrogen and experience managing a team of developers in the headless e-commerce space. They will be responsible for leading the development of high-quality, scalable, and secure web applications while also being hands-on with coding as a manager.Responsibilities
Manage a team of developers to deliver high-quality web applications using Shopify/HydrogenCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirementsDevelop and implement best practices for web development, including coding standards, testing, and deploymentMentor and guide team members in their professional development and growthHands-on coding as a manager to support the team and ensure delivery of high-quality codeStay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the e-commerce spaceWork closely with stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standardsEstablish and maintain technical documentation and processesContinuously monitor and improve the development process to increase efficiency and qualityRequirements
5+ years of experience in web development, with a focus on Shopify/Hydrogen2+ years of experience managing a team of developersStrong understanding of headless e-commerce and its applicationsProficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development technologiesExperience with Shopify/Hydrogen theme development and customizationFamiliarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as GitExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing prioritiesSalary: $170,000 - $190,000 a yearBenefits and Culture
