Manage financial close and compile financial reports:Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, accruals and reconciliation process, including Journal Entries.Collecting and consolidating financial data.Prepare comprehensive financial reports.Assessing and improving accounting processes and procedures.Revenue Recognition & COGS, and other complex accounting topics
Revenue RecognitionCOGS including cost accountingFAR Cost Accounting StandardsConstruction, asset and lease accounting
Ensuring compliance with applicable accounting rules, and other regulations, including:Oversee Accounts Payable (AP):Recommend, review and approve the validity and timing of payments.Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) and Collections:Manage and optimize accounts receivable processes, and collections.Tax Returns (Federal, State and Local):Oversee tax return processes in compliance with tax laws (collaborating with an outsourced related company).Ensure Internal Controls:Establishing and maintaining financial controls.Ensure financial compliance, including adherence to IFRS accounting rules and SOX requirements.Serve as the primary point of contact for both external and internal audits.Mentoring the Team:Supervise and mentor team accounting members.What you have…
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.CPA or relevant certification highly preferred.Experience with SAP ERP 6.0 or S/4 HANA Accounting module.Hands-on and detailed-oriented.Proven experience in controls, compliance, and reporting.Strong understanding of FAR Cost Accounting Standards.Strong Soft Skills including Leadership, Analytical Thinking, Decision-Making, Communication, Organization, Problem-Solving, Negotiation, Strategic Thinking, Detail-Oriented, and Accountability.Compensation and Benefits:
