Corporate Financial Controller (Onsite)

accounting department including general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, timekeeping , and
payroll.You will be reporting directly to the CFO.Manage
accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing,
timekeeping, and cash receipts functions.Prepare
statutory reporting requirements
and facilitate all external audits (Financial, tax, statutory).Establish internal safeguards for
revenue receipts, costs, and team and organizational budgets
and actual expenditures.In coordination with CFO, set financial and operating benchmarks, budgets, program monitoring, and reporting standards on a biweekly, monthly, and annual basis.Ensure
consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures
across all programs, adhering to national and local legal standards while remaining knowledgeable of proposed legislation.Enforce
internal controls
to maximize the protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflows.Oversee the accounting department and streamline the procure-to-pay process to improve the financial health of the company.Provide simple, clear, and
transparent reporting
to the business operations team, using the company’s accounting and business intelligence systems.Collaborate with external auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations and GAAP.Monitor cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reporting.Implement updates and improvements for accounting and payroll processes and procedures.Analyze
financial reports
and data closely to support the business understanding and application of financial data.Education and Experience:Years of experience in Accounting:
7 years of leadership responsibilities.Experience with modern accounting software:
Required.MSD365 working experience:
Preferred.Excel and modeling skills with Power BI:
Preferred.Equipment industry experience:
Required.Understanding of Project Accounting:
Including
Percentage of Completion revenue
recognition.Labor experience:
Required.Degree in Accounting:
Required (Master’s degree preferred).LEAN methodologies:
Including continuous improvement initiatives is a plus.Experience working with large family privately owned corporations:
A plus.Experience with Big4 accounting firms:
A plus.CPA status:
Required.Knowledge of national and local tax regulations:
Required.History of financial project management:
Required.Business acumen:
Including
construction industry, POC, revenue recognition,
