Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to facilitate integrated and comprehensive care in the peri-operative environment.May substitute training in operating room procedures from military or vocational training program.Virginia Surgical Techs are required to be Licensed with the VBOM. New hires without license must obtain within 6 months of hire.Minimum Requirements:Licensed Surgical Technologist - State license - Other/NationalCertified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Certifications - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQITrade School GraduateOperating Room Previous ExperienceSkills:Critical ThinkingCommunicationActive ListeningSpeakingService Orientation
