As a Senior PHP Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our SaaS platform that powers 24/7 monitoring and video streaming for home security systems. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, designers, and product managers, to build robust, scalable solutions. This role requires you to be onsite in our West Midtown office at least 3 days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely the other 2 days.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain PHP-based applications, including both backend and API integrationsCollaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logicOptimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and securityWrite clean, well-documented, and maintainable codeTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issuesParticipate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of the development processWork closely with product managers to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needsStay updated on the latest trends and technologies in PHP development
Requirements:Proven experience as a Senior PHP Developer with 5+ years of experience in web developmentStrong proficiency in PHP and experience with frameworks such as Laravel or SymfonyExperience with RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party servicesFamiliarity with MySQL, database design, and query optimizationStrong understanding of web security best practicesExperience with version control systems, particularly GitExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work effectively in a collaborative, dog-friendly environmentMust be located in Atlanta, Georgia, or willing to relocate
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Google CloudFamiliarity with front-end technologies such as Vue.js or ReactExperience with video streaming technologiesBackground in building and scaling SaaS applicationsKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
