As a Senior Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced Android applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, backend developers, and product managers, to create seamless mobile experiences. Your expertise in Android development, combined with your leadership skills, will be instrumental in driving our mobile projects to success.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and JavaCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new featuresOptimize applications for performance, scalability, and user experienceTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and bugsConduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developersStay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends, tools, and best practicesEnsure adherence to mobile development and software engineering standardsWork closely with product managers to understand business goals and translate them into technical solutions
Requirements:Proven experience as an Android Developer with 5+ years of experience in mobile application developmentStrong proficiency in Kotlin and JavaExperience with Android SDK and related libraries such as Jetpack, Retrofit, and RoomFamiliarity with RESTful APIs and integration of Android applications with backend servicesKnowledge of Android design principles and guidelinesStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentExperience with version control systems like GitMust be located in Atlanta, Georgia, or willing to relocate
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with CI/CD pipelines for Android applicationsFamiliarity with modern design patterns like MVVM or Clean ArchitectureExperience in mentoring or leading a team of developersKnowledge of mobile security best practicesExperience with third-party libraries and APIsFamiliarity with automated testing frameworks like Espresso
