The Imaging and Diagnostic staff functions and provides care for the patient under the Imaging Manager and Radiologist direction. This is a PRN position located in Woodstock, GA. The start date will be November 2024.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Set up the equipment to provide imaging service and position patient for the procedure.Enter data into patient electronic medical records.Schedule patients for tests and procedures as needed.Manage phone calls and fax correspondence as needed.Inventory and stock medical supplies and materials.Perform other work-related duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Successful completion of a formal program of study accredited by the Joint Review Committee and American Registry of Radiologic Technology in CT (R,CT) certification required.Minimum of 1 year experience as Radiologic technologist preferred.2 years of current experience as a CT Tech and can perform all diagnostic CT exams according to the established policy and procedure.Current BLS card from the American Heart Association, prior to permanent hire date.Able to complete preliminary imaging report for the Radiologist, experience with PACS preferred.Experience with GE equipment - 16 slice.
