You will serve as a Security Specialist within the Protective Services Division, coordinating all aspects of planning, operation, protection, and direction for the Goddard Space Flight Center, Wallops Flight Facility. You will provide policy and guidance interpretation to organizations, projects, and programs in the areas of Information/Industrial Security, National Security, and identity credentialing. You will also provide assessment, design, and oversight of physical security solutions. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
To qualify for GS-12, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level:
Providing guidance related to information/industrial security and national security;Providing guidance on classified contracts for industrial security processes;Assisting in the design and oversight of implementing physical security solutions to protect personnel, facilities, and equipment.
