You will serve as a Counterintelligence Special Agent in the Counterintelligence/Counterterrorism Office at Goddard Space Flight Center. This office reports to the Counterintelligence/Counterterrorism Division, Office of Protective Services, HQ NASA. You will serve under the day-to-day operational direction of the Lead Counterintelligence Special Agent. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
To qualify for GS-13, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level:Participating in counterintelligence investigations to identify threats posed by foreign intelligence and/or terrorist groups;Preparing written reports of investigative findings to identify indications of foreign intelligence or foreign terrorism activity;Preparing counterintelligence briefings to provide awareness of foreign intelligence and foreign terrorist groups' tactics and techniques.
