Jacksonville, FLOverview:Deutsche Bank's legal department is seeking a qualified attorney located in Jacksonville, Florida to support the Bank's Corporate Banking (CB) business, which consists of Cash Management, Trade Finance, as well as Trust & Agency Services and Security Services. Your primary focus will be supporting the Trade Finance and Cash Management businesses with an expectation to support other areas of the Corporate Bank over time. As part of the Corporate Bank legal team, you will provide timely counsel and legal support of domestic and global transactions in a cost-effective manner while owning diverse and complex legal issues that require excellent business judgement. You should also welcome working as part of a highly collaborative and international team.What We Offer You:A diverse and inclusive environment that embraces change, innovation, and collaborationA hybrid working model, allowing for in-office / work from home flexibility, generous vacation, personal and volunteer daysEmployee Resource Groups support an inclusive workplace for everyone and promote community engagementCompetitive compensation packages including health and wellbeing benefits, retirement savings plans, parental leave, and family building benefitsEducational resources, matching gift and volunteer programsWhat You'll Do:Provide day-to-day support across the Business including with respect to receivables financing, supply chain financing, letters of credit, import/export financing, commodities, risk participations, short-term lending arrangements and cash management agreementsCoordinate, review and assist in finalizing external counsel due diligence for cross-border confirmed payables arrangementsIdentify unusual legal, operational or credit risks and ensure that such risks are appropriately addressed and/or escalatedAssist with structuring new business transactions and endeavor to provide legal support without significant reliance on outside counselCollaborate with strategic partners in various departments, seeking guidance and input from colleagues throughout the organization to ensure solutions balance the Bank's risk framework with the Corporate Bank business needsHow You'll Lead:Act as subject matter expert and provide guidance within the teamSkills You'll Need:Moderate experience (depending on corporate title) at a law firm and/or in-house counsel at a financial institution with emphasis on structuring, drafting and negotiating documentation for trade finance instruments and bilateral loan agreements, cash management agreements and/or other sophisticated financing arrangementsRelevant documentation and transactional experience should include work with accounts receivable financing, import/export transactions, letters of credit, security agreements, risk participations, etc.Must possess strong communication and drafting skills and demonstrate experience in risk identification and analysisJD and at least one state bar admission (active and good standing). Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.
