Director

The primary responsibilities of the Director are to represent the youth-focused mission of the program, manage the financial operations and development goals of the site, maintain strong university partner relationships, work closely with a local advisory board to raise the annual budget, and recruit and manage a team that ensures the coordination of all program operations. The Director must be highly motivated, organized, enthusiastic, willing to travel, a great communicator, hardworking, and a strong role model. The Director reports to the Vice President of Site Operations and works closely with the Chief Operating Officer, CFO/CAO, and the Chief Development Officer.Minimum Requirements:

5+ years management experience requiredGraduate degree preferredProven track record of raising funds from diverse sources, including major gifts from individuals, foundations, and corporationsKnowledge of and connections to the funding community in the San Francisco Bay AreaExperience working with a fundraising boardExcellent interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational skills and ability to multi-taskDecisiveSelf-motivatedStrong and inspiring leaderExcellent writing and communication skillsKnowledge of university structure and policyKnowledge of San Francisco Bay Area public high schoolsKnowledge of higher education and educational accessWilling to travelDemonstrated belief in Posses mission and values
