Austin, TX, or Redwood City, CA. This is a hybrid role in either location.Note: This position requires U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain US federal government security clearance (secret level or higher).ABOUT THE TEAMOracle’s Business Assessment & Audit team (BA&A) is responsible for providing enterprise risk management services on behalf of the executive management team and board of Oracle Corporation as well as its publicly traded subsidiaries. These responsibilities are performed through conducting broad business risk-based audits (operational/financial/IT/compliance-focused) of Oracle’s global processes and subsidiaries.POSITION OVERVIEWProactively develop and analyze data to answer key questions for stakeholders, BA&A team members, and BA&A leadership, focusing on what drives business performance and identifying areas needing improvement in efficiency and/or productivity.Spearhead innovation and generate business insights through the use of existing and new data and business intelligence technologies. Train team members on various data analytics topics, including updating process documents/SOPs and the library of use cases.Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to verify data quality and pull needed information.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAssist the team in the planning, development, and execution of data analysis (data cleaning, preparation, visualizations, etc.) for audit projects, including oversight of junior staff to create scalable and repeatable data analytics.Provide support on the existing data analytics environment and existing Visualization/Reporting Dashboard environments.Develop, deploy, and maintain analytical procedures using analytics tools, programming languages, Data Visualization (DV), and other technologies (e.g., Robotic Process Automation tools) to improve effectiveness and efficiency in delivering successful audits and process reviews.Pilot and deploy advanced data analytics tools and techniques using artificial intelligence and machine learning.Train users, document analytical procedures, and report engagement progress to audit management and business stakeholders.Assist in obtaining data from various company systems and use business intelligence tools to design analytical procedures that support conclusions and process improvement initiatives.Engage with technical teams to understand source data, data flows/system maps, and various applications.Work closely with technical/functional experts in LOBs/IT teams to support IA objectives and strategize next steps.PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCEBachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, or a related field preferred.At least 8 years of data analytics experience supporting business process and/or operational audits.Strong presentation and communication skills (verbal and written) in English are critical.Competent interpersonal skills, able to lead projects and mentor others.Ability to evaluate business processes and IT technology, identify risks, and evaluate controls.Ability to translate business needs into viable solutions.Organizational and time management skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office and experience with data analytics and visualization tools (i.e., Alteryx, IDEA, Excel, Tableau, etc.).Ability to code in SQL and Python required.CISA or relevant professional certifications preferred.Ability to travel up to 10%.Does this sound like you?
