LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join one of our customers in their office located in Concord, California. This job will be 100% in-office. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments, maintaining vendor relationships, and supporting the overall financial health of our organization.

Responsibilities:

Review and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.

Code and enter invoices into the accounting system.

Prepare and process payments through checks, ACH, or other methods.

Reconcile accounts payable transactions.

Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner.

Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records.

Assist with other accounting and finance tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred.

Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience: 2 years of accounting experience (Accounts Payable Specialist, Accounts Payable Clerk, Accounting Assistant, Accounting Clerk).

Employment Type: Temp to Hire.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour.
