Position will provide the strategic and visionary direction to the Surgical Services Department (ORs, PACU and PAT, Endoscopy, Ambulatory Surgery and Central Sterile Supply)
Reports directly to a dynamic and collaborative Chief Nursing Officer
Performs over 9,500 annual surgeries including General, Orthopedic, GYN, CV, Neuro, and ENT; well supported by a team of 90+ FTE's

About the Director of Surgical Services (RN):
In this role, you will provide the strategic leadership and day-to-day management for the Surgical Services Department. You will develop goals and objectives for the department, identify growth strategies, provide mentoring and coaching, ensure collaborative and positive physician relationships, create and implement process improvements, and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies. Our ideal candidate will possess the heart of a servant leader and should be able to build and maintain positive relationships across all levels.
Qualifications & Requirements for Director of Surgical Services (RN):
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required / Master's preferred
Active RN License State of Ohio
Minimum three (3) years of progressive surgical services/operating room leadership experience
Minimum five (5) years of surgical services/OR nursing experience
Excellent communication skills across all levels
Inspirational and collaborative leadership style
