We also offer tuition waivers for employees and dependents.Duties & Responsibilities:Serves as transplant patients' primary scheduling point of contact.Coordinates patients' appointment schedules; contacts patients to confirm appointments and set up return appointments.Calls patients to remind them of their appointments.Initiates and retrieves medical records and source documents as requested.Serves as administrative support for transplant education classes or other events.Routes calls and responds to voicemails in a timely manner.Verifies external referrals to the UI Health Transplant program.Composes various patient correspondence under the direction of the registered nurse.Reviews and monitors efficiency of EPIC scheduling work queues.Ensures administrative fields are accurate and up to date in EPIC Phoenix.Monitors workflow; trains new staff; responsible for training in all phases of reception work.Assists in workflow changes in current operating procedures.Cross-trained to other clerical teams within the department.Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications Required:Any one or any combination totaling two (2) years (24 months) from the categories below:A. College education with coursework in a medical or para-medical field such as nursing assistant, medical assistant, or medical secretary and/or business fields such as business, finance, computer science, public administration, or social science.B. Work experience comparable to that performed at the Medical Office Associate level or in other positions of comparable responsibility.Preferred Qualifications:Bilingual language skills with the ability to read, write, speak and translate Spanish / English.To Apply:
