Description:

Become part of Lockheed Martin Space's Information Technology team, where you'll work on industry leading solutions in support of how we design and create our revolutionary LM Space products. This Full Stack Software Engineer will join a fast-paced team that's focused on the deployment and sustainment of cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate for this position has a passion for cloud-based software deployment and configuration, leveraging agile methodology and working in DevOps environments. The selected candidate will leverage strong communication skills to thrive in a largely virtual environment as a member of cross-functional, agile teams.

Basic Qualifications:Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCIExperience with agile development methodologies and DevOps conceptsExperience with developing/ deploying COTS or custom software on cloud-based platformsExperience with system integrationExperience with web technologiesExperience with development using high level scripting and/or programming languagesStrong communication skillsAbility to manage priorities and requirements in a fast-paced settingAbility to establish strong team relationships and deliver exceptional customer serviceExperience managing and developing infrastructure environments (compute, storage, network, database) with traditional or cloud-based toolsDesired Skills:Experience using collaborative tools such as Microsoft Teams and ConfluenceExperience and/or familiarity with compute environments such as AWS or RedHat OpenShiftExperience and/or familiarity with containerization technology (e.g. Docker, Podman)Experience and/or familiarity with Kubernetes or K8s distribution such as Red Hat OpenShift, Rancher, Helm ChartsExperience and/or familiarity with API and web service developmentExperience and/or familiarity with GitHub/GitLabExperience and/or familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, JanusGraph)Experience and/or familiarity with automation provisioning tools (e.g. Ansible)Clearance Level:

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per weekPay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $70,500 - $135,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
