We are looking for a temporary Benefits Administrator to join our Total Rewards Team.

Job Purpose

Responsible for ongoing administration of employee benefits, leaves of absence and wellness programs as it relates to plan options, policy features, enrollment and other requirements, primarily with U.S. health and welfare benefit plans and the corporate wellness program. Support annual enrollment activities and day-to-day administration of existing plans. Ensure company compliance with federal and state laws.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities

Act as initial point of contact regarding all benefits and leave of absence needs and provide support for all employee benefits issues, escalating to the relevant stakeholder when necessary.

Provide excellent customer service and adherence to policies and regulations.

Support annual US Open Enrollment activities and implementation.

Coordinate leave of absences, short term disability and ADA claims between Employees, TPA, and HR.

Review monthly benefits invoices for accuracy, obtain approvals, and perform internal processes to submit for timely payment.

Present benefit offerings to new hires.

Support internal and external data reporting needs; audit accuracy of benefit data and resolve discrepancies; assist in analysis of benefits costs.

Support communication processes.

Update intranet and benefits portal postings, set up benefit fairs and employee informational meetings.

Other administrative support for benefits projects and ongoing processes as needed.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in HR, or equivalent work experience.

2 - 4 years experience in employee benefits and leave administration.

Strong analytical experience required.

Experience with ADP or other HRIS Systems, Ben Admin Systems, and Excel required.

Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations and compliance around COBRA, ACA, HIPAA, FMLA, CFRA, PDL, ADA strongly preferred.

Ability to appropriately handle confidential information and to develop productive internal and external working relationships.

Effective customer service, verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to define problems, research data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and report on findings.
