Role Overview:

The Safety, Security, Quality, and Business Continuity (SSQBC) department contributes to the success of EDP Renewables NA (EDP NA) by ensuring regulatory compliance and implementing a proactive approach towards worker safety across multiple locations. The Safety Analyst will support the EDPR agenda to drive continuous improvement across all business lines by implementing a data-driven proactive approach toward worker safety.Main responsibilities:

Be an advocate for Safety within the company by driving a strong safety culture both in administrative offices and the field.Assist in maintaining industry-standard procedures and assist in developing best-in-class management practices.Assist in establishing measurable safety benchmarks for construction, operations, and other office activities.Assist with quantitative and qualitative analysis, demonstrating a strong drive to troubleshoot problems and design solutions.Collect, review, validate, and maintain data for regulatory and corporate reporting compliance.Monitor key performance indicators across H&S management systems on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.Conduct in-depth analysis using data collected from multiple data sources and provide actionable improvement recommendations and gap analysis for improvement.Develop and manage workflows to collect, analyze, and maintain HSE data.Responsible for providing accurate data gathering, reporting, and delivery of safety corporate report.Track H&S applications and safety audits and identify data collection and reporting efficiencies.Assist in maintaining PowerBi dashboards including Safety Scorecards for wind/solar operation and construction review.Assist with the delivery of safety programs, including those designed to meet OSHA, State, Federal, and EDPR requirements.Assist with Corrective and Preventative Action requests and provide support to maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications.Perform at a fast pace, with self-motivation and strong initiative.Additional duties as required.Employment type

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or pursuing a bachelor's degree in data analytics, environmental health and safety management, engineering or equivalent experience in a related field.Understanding of SQL, PowerBi and Microsoft products and/or complementing products.Competency in Analytical Problem Solving, Strong Communication, Customer/Partner Relationships, and Technology Expertise (Preferred).Strong analytical Problem Solving, Communication, Customer/Partner Relationships, and Technology Expertise.Travel:
