Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
to play a crucial role in shaping the foundations and future of a rapidly growing Accounts Platform. In this role, you’ll help analyze and execute the most effective testing approach to assure that products meet design specifications and customer requirements. This role will maintain and administer operational and process quality standards. You’ll collaborate closely with peer engineers, engineering managers, and product managers.Duties/ResponsibilitiesAnalyze product documentation to plan for the best testing approach that will ensure qualityAnalyze product documentation to inspire the creation of a Test Plan to ensure testing qualityAnalyze product documentation to inspire the creation of Test Cases / scripts to ensure testing qualityPerform and conduct testing to assure that products meet design specifications and customer requirementsUse JIRA for Test Case and Defect ManagementIdentify automation opportunities and build on the existing automation frameworkWork closely with project managers, software developers, business analysts and Operations team members to ensure quality productsEffectively communicate and document all problems discovered during validation processWork independently with limited supervision as well as within a team environmentMaintain an established level of productivity using time management techniquesAble to shift between priorities as needed throughout the workday.Education And/or ExperienceBS Computer Science or equivalent5+ years of experience working as a QA Engineer in Agile development environment5+ years of experience testing enterprise grade REST API servicesStrong experience in building/implementing automation with test casesExperience with Test Case and Defect Management tools preferably JIRARequired Skills/AbilitiesKnowledge of Software Quality Assurance industry standardsKnowledge of performance testing is a plusStrong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsAbility to adapt to a fast-paced changing environmentAbility to work with others adequatelyAbility to adequately work independentlyAbility to achieve deliverablesWork EnvironmentThis job operates in an office environment.Our RewardsWe offer a robust package of employee perks and benefits, including healthcare benefits (medical, dental and vision, EAP), competitive PTO, 401k match, parental leave, and HSA contribution match.
