The ideal candidate uses critical, analytical thinking to troubleshoot non-compliance to ensure accuracy, time management to ensure that all required documentation is submitted on time, and a strong attention to detail when working with large amounts of numerical data.
Because Junior Rebate Analysts process rebates/incentives through utility programs, they see, firsthand, the benefits of these programs and how they promote sustainability and energy efficiency by incentivizing the construction of energy efficient residential properties.
THE ROLE
Job Location:
This position is based in our main office in Fairfax, VA with the option of a hybrid remote/office work schedule after the completion of the employee's 90 Day Performance Review.
Essential Functions:
Training will be needed in the following areas to become a Rebate Analyst.
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, and execution of our National Energy Rebate Programs
Coordinate completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals
Lead the planning and implementation of project
Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables
Define project tasks and resource requirements
Develop full scale project plans
Manage project resource allocation
Plan and schedule project timelines
Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
Quality assurance
Constantly monitor client's performance and report on progress of the project to supervisor
Present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions
Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
Project evaluations and assessment of results
Organize and control all data through Excel and Share-Point
Interface with Operations, Owners, and Subcontractors to discuss impact of work and resolution of problems.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Environmental Science, or related field
Training will be provided and is required for this position.
Additional Requirements:
Experience with construction and/or energy efficiency code compliance is not required but is a PLUS
Ability to read, write, and comprehend technical instructions
Ability to effectively communicate with other disciplines or groups
Must have excellent verbal/written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills
Excellent reporting skills, attention to detail, deadline-oriented, and time management skills
Must have strong software experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)
