Role Overview

We're looking for a Senior Swift Developer to lead our iOS development efforts. In this role, you'll be responsible for creating high-performance, AI-powered iOS applications that leverage our distributed AI technology, ensuring smooth and efficient execution on Apple devices.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and develop sophisticated iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI

Integrate webAI's distributed AI technology into iOS apps, optimizing for local execution

Design and implement efficient, thread-safe code for AI model inference on iOS devices

Collaborate with the AI and systems teams to optimize AI performance on Apple hardware

Develop and maintain SDK/frameworks for easy integration of webAI technology in iOS apps

Ensure adherence to Apple's design principles and App Store guidelines

Mentor junior iOS developers and contribute to the technical direction of our mobile strategy

Requirements

7+ years of iOS development experience, with at least 5 years using Swift

Expert-level knowledge of Swift, SwiftUI, and iOS SDK

Strong understanding of multithreading and memory management in iOS

Experience with Core ML and Metal for on-device machine learning

Familiarity with Xcode, Instruments, and other iOS development tools

Knowledge of iOS security best practices and privacy considerations

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with distributed systems or edge computing on iOS

Familiarity with C++ for performance-critical components

Contributions to open-source Swift projects

Knowledge of WebAssembly and its potential applications on iOS

Understanding of AR technologies (ARKit) for potential AI-enhanced AR features
