Job SummaryResponsible for full cycle of Accounts Payable from processing vendor invoices through an ERP system to submitting vendor payments and assisting with month-end closing procedures, including G/L reconciliations and journal entries. Additional responsibilities include auditing employees' expense reports to ensure they comply with Corporate Travel Policy, communicating with departments to resolve invoice and expense report discrepancies, and communicating with suppliers as needed.
Essential Functions:Reconcile vendor statementsMatch and reconcile 2, 3, & 4-way Purchase OrdersVouch and reconcile utilities and monthly expensesSubmit weekly check runs, ensuring proper approval and submission to bankCommunicate timely with vendors and inter-departmental personnelSubmit 1099 filing, from generating forms to suppliers to submission to the IRSProcess weekly and monthly legal invoices, ensuring proper approvalProcess employee expense reports ensuring documentation and travel policy adherencePrepare journal entries as neededUtilize system generated reports to reconcile accounts payable G/L accountsRequired/Preferred Education and Experience:Associate degree in related field, or equivalent experienceHigher Education preferred6+ years of accounts payable experience in a team environmentSupervisory experience is preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Oracle or comparable ERPMicrosoft ExcelStrong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail, excellent communication, and organizational skillsPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Standing - OccasionallyWalking - OccasionallySitting - ConstantlyTalking - OccasionallyHearing - OccasionallyRepetitive Motions - FrequentlyZOLL is a fast-growing company that operates in more than 140 countries around the world.
