We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Software Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, a strong foundation in software development, and a desire to learn and grow within a collaborative environment. As a Junior Software Engineer, you will assist in developing, testing, and maintaining software applications, while gaining valuable experience and contributing to the success of our projects.Essential Functions
Assist in the design, development, and implementation of software applications.Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.Maintain and improve existing software applications.Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure our software solutions remain current and competitive.Required/Preferred Education And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.0-2+ years of professional experience in software development.Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or HTML.Understanding of software development principles, algorithms, and data structures.Experience with version control systems, such as Git.Familiarity with databases and SQL.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.Experience with web development frameworks, such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.Physical Demands
