City of Hope Medical Group Seeks a Medical Oncologist to Join Our Long Beach TeamCity of Hope, Long Beach provides the community with unparalleled care and innovative cancer treatments closer to home. The Department of Medical Oncology and Therapeutics Research at City of Hope National Medical Center is seeking applications for a full-time clinical faculty with experience in diagnosing and treating both cancer and blood disorders, to join our established practice in the coastal city of Long Beach, Southern California.This position is a rare opportunity to work in a 475+ member integrated, multidisciplinary Medical Group Practice serving an NCI designated comprehensive cancer center in Southern California. Actual compensation will be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors.Physicians working for City of Hope Medical Group are now eligible to apply for the Public Student Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) ProgramRelocation offered on a case-by-case basisPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESWhen fully staffed, the Long Beach practice will include a total of 8 providers:4 medical oncologists and 4 APPsEffort allocation: 95% clinical with potential for involvement in all phases of clinical trials; the Long Beach Elm location has a strong clinical research tradition that has recently included early phase studies of bispecific T-cell engager antibodies in solid tumor.Cover two clinic locations: Long Beach Worsham & Long Beach Elm and associated regional hospitals along with the entire provider team (only 6 miles apart).WHO WE ARECity of Hope is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of people with cancer, diabetes, and other serious illnesses.
