Radiology Technologist

opportunity is per diem and offers a convenient schedule. This dynamic Radiology Technologist is responsible for performing Radiology procedures requiring ionizing radiation within the surgery center. The Rad Tech supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of Quail Surgical & Pain Management Center and supports and participates in quality improvement activities.Job Duties/Responsibilities:Performs quality radiological exams as requested by a physician.Maintains radiological equipment in proper working order and calls for repairs or maintenance service when appropriate.Maintains film badge records and ensures all employees are within ELARA levels for ionizing radiation exposure.Qualifications:Current AART Certification.Certified by the State of Nevada.BLS Certification.Minimum 3 years experience in an ambulatory surgery facility or acute care hospital operating room in a similar or related position.EEO Statement:All UHS subsidiaries are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.
