IT Project Manager

Annapolis, Maryland (Onsite)Job DescriptionWorking under the direction of the Department Manager, the Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of projects ensuring it aligns with the strategy, commitments, and objectives.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute project plans.Assist in defining the scope, objectives, and deliverables of the project.Identify necessary tasks and resources.Assemble and coordinate the project team.Distribute project resources appropriately.Establish a project schedule and timeline.Provide guidance and support to the team.Conduct quality assurance checks.Regularly report on the status of the project.Deliver progress reports, issues, and solutions to stakeholders.Implement and manage changes as needed to fulfill project deliverables.Evaluate and measure project results.Knowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesEffective communication and people skills.Advanced sense of integrity and commitment to stakeholder satisfaction.Strong problem-solving, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.Proficiency in risk, change, and time management.Experience in strategic and project planning.Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.Familiarity with project management software and tools.Education And Work ExperienceAt least 5 years of experience managing IT-related projects, demonstrating a leadership role in at least 3 successful projects that were delivered on time and budget.Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline desired.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or equivalent project management experience.
