Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Strategy Development:
Lead the development and execution of the release management strategy for the Enterprise Data team.
Ensure alignment of the release strategy with enterprise-wide standards, including CI/CD and DevOps best practices.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define release policies, procedures, and standards across various technologies.
Environment Management:
Define, set up, and maintain comprehensive integration environments for non-production and production stages.
Manage environments across various technologies such as Mulesoft, Kafka, PowerCenter, Java, Snowflake, and MS Studio.
Ensure environment readiness and stability to support continuous integration, continuous delivery, and deployment.
Release Process Standardization:
Support and standardize the release process, ensuring consistency and compliance with enterprise standards.
Implement and manage automated release processes using CI/CD tools.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline release cycles and improve deployment efficiency.
Collaboration & Support:
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of release management practices.
Provide expert guidance and support to development teams on best practices for release and environment management.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to environments and release processes.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of release management.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously evolve and optimize release strategies.
Preferred Office Location:Des Moines (Remote may be considered with exceptional communication skills & work ethic)
Desired Skills:
Proven experience in release management, environment management, and CI/CD in an Enterprise Data environment.
Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools.
Hands-on experience with technologies such as Mulesoft, Kafka, PowerCenter, Snowflake, and Microsoft Studio.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience in the insurance industry is a plus.
Job Types:Full-time, Contract
Pay:$50.00 - $60.00 per hour
