Provides diagnostic imaging services in both inpatient and outpatient environments. Operates imaging equipment and obtains quality images. Completes all aspects of the patient's exam: room prep, equipment, supplies, and medications. Addresses questions and concerns the patient may have regarding their exam. Works under moderate direction from the supervisor or lead technologists. Has the opportunity to advance career to a Senior Specialized technologist by successfully completing an advance registry in CT, MRI or Mammography.Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalentGraduation from Radiologic Technology Program and/or registry eligible or registered. Must pass registry within 6 months of graduation. Once registered, must maintain registered status.Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills to assist patients in the x-ray process and explain procedures. Ability to work effectively with patients of all ages.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds to assist and move patients.Ability to operate a computer to input and retrieve data.Maintain CPR certification for continued employment.
