Room LeaderA fantastic opportunity has arisen with our Client based near Iron Acton, Bristol. They are looking for a Qualified Nursery Room Leader to support them with each and every child in their room! This fantastic setting embraces the curiosity approach and offers real and natural object exploration opportunities for the children!
Main Responsibilities:
Have an excellent understanding of the EYFS.
Be able to implement the EYFS into planning activities.
Understand the importance of assessment, and ensure all children receive the statutory progress checks required.
Maintain records of your key children’s development and learning journeys and share with parents, carers, and other professionals.
Support the Deputy Manager and Manager.
Oversee the Room at all times whilst on duty and the Nursery is in operation, relaying any concerns immediately to the Nursery Manager.
Be involved in out of working hours’ activities, e.g. training, staff meetings, etc.
Build strong relationships with the team, the children, and parents/carers.
