Our Operations Finance function is responsible for providing oversight and support for our fast-paced and solution-driven Supply Chain teams.Seeking a Sr. Finance Manager within the Operations Finance team to support senior leaders across multiple sites in data analytics, financial reporting, and forecasting processes to help craft the success of the business. This role would suit an individual with a passion for data analytics and a real desire to develop and succeed within a fast-paced, innovative global function!What you will do:Lead all aspects of the following areas within a P&L accountable business: Productivity Analysis, Costing, Inventory, CAPEX & InvestmentDrive improvements and accountability for Gross Margin analysisFacilitate the monthly review of cost/spend with the leadership teamBe responsible for Monthly and Quarterly Business Review (MBR/QBR) for OperationsProvide Financial support to the S&OP processBe responsible for Annual Operating Plan & Strategic multi-year plan through strategic financial analysis in collaboration with Site Leadership TeamPerform financial evaluation and handle all capital expenditure to ensure profitable business decisionsIdentify and make recommendations that optimize business processes and reporting to improve financial performanceInfluence decision making by evaluating business plans and capital investmentsLead, develop, and inspire the team to meet the business and Finance objectivesHow you will get here:EducationBachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or Finance fieldExperience7+ years of relevant working experience preferredKnowledge, Skills, AbilitiesSignificant experience within Operations Finance, FP&A, or ControllingBusiness partnership experienceAbility to handle large sets of data, creating accurate reports with responsibility for the quality and integrity of resultsHighly analytical with strong business senseOrganized multitasker: workload prioritization, while achieving results, especially in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentContinuous Improvement approach: Identify process and control gaps and champion improvement initiativesFinancial competence, including deep familiarity with concepts of forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysisExcellent skills with MS Excel are required; Oracle, HFM/CMR, SAP are preferredEffective spoken and written communication skills are required to collaborate with various partnersStrong team building skills and ability to work with a diverse group of peopleSelf-motivated, higher level of flexibility, and strong work ethic with the goal to get the job doneExhibit leadership, initiative, and the Thermo Fisher Scientific 4-I values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement.Travel requirementsLess than 10% domestic/international travel requiredAt Thermo Fisher Scientific, each one of our extraordinary minds has a unique story to tell.
