Application DeveloperProvides application software development services. Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications. Codes, tests, debugs and documents software applications. Analyzes requirements and tests and integrates application components. Designs, codes, tests, corrects and documents complex programs and scripts from agreed specifications and subsequent iterations using agreed standards and tools to achieve a well-engineered result. Uses application management software and tools to investigate issues, collect performance statistics and create reports.Recommends/designs structures and tools for systems which meet business needs and takes into account target environment, performance security requirements and existing systems. Translates logical designs into physical designs and produces detailed design documentation. Maps work to user specification and removes errors and deviations from specification to achieve user-friendly processes. Defines the integration build, accepts software modules from software developers and produces software builds for loading onto the target environment. Configures the hardware environment, produces integration test specifications and conducts tests, recording details of any failures and carrying out fault diagnosis.Experience and Required Skills:Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Applications or related field (or foreign equivalent) and 2 years of experience as Data Engineer. All experience and requirements must be gained after achievement of the degree.Compensation Range:
$96,300.00 - $160,500.00Actual total compensation, including a performance based incentive bonus, is commensurate with experience, skills, qualifications, education, training, and internal equity. While we anticipate the selected candidate for this position will fall towards the middle or entry point of the compensation range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis.PGE believes in rewarding dedicated performance.
