Redwood Animal Hospital

is the largest and oldest veterinary facility in Castro Valley, providing clients and their pets with excellent veterinary care for decades. We are a state-of-the-art facility offering in-house laboratory diagnostics, ultrasound, digital x-rays, tonometry, dental, and a great variety of surgical services. We strive to exceed pet owners’ expectations by offering high-quality medicine to dogs, cats, and most exotic pets. We utilize the latest in modern veterinary equipment, techniques, and medicines to allow us to protect and strengthen the priceless bond between a pet and their owner. We are ‘Fear-Free’ certified! Our goal is to prevent and alleviate fear, anxiety, and stress by providing gentle-touch exams, procedures, and an enjoyable, stress-free environment for our patients. We also focus on client education, so pets stay happy and healthy longer. We practice veterinary medicine for the outcome and not just for the income!

This position has leadership potential and we welcome both experienced and recent grad compassionate Veterinarians.

What's In It For YouWe offer competitive salary medical benefits (including health, dental, and vision), 401(k), employee assistance program (EAP), CE allowance, vacation, dues reimbursement, liability coverage, mentorship, and so much more. The base salary for this position can range between $140,000 - $190,000+ annually with production for a 40-hour work week (4 tens) and will be determined based on previous experience, skill set, and practice type. Total compensation may also include a sign-on or retention bonus.
