Position Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Information Technology to lead and manage our large-scale IT systems. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in IT infrastructure management, with a strong preference for experience in the healthcare sector. This role requires a strategic thinker capable of navigating complex operational challenges and ensuring the security, reliability, and compliance of our IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic leadership and vision for large-scale Enterprise IT systems.

Drive innovation and efficiency in Enterprise IT operations.

Oversee the management and optimization of IT infrastructure.

Ensure robust data security, effective disaster recovery planning, and continuous system monitoring.

Evaluate and manage information security across multiple platforms.

Ensure IT operations comply with all relevant regulatory requirements.

Lead the strategic development and adoption of APIs to enhance system functionality and integration.

Navigate federal procurement and contract processes and ensure compliance with government contracting regulations.

Drive system re-engineering efforts to improve data privacy, accuracy, and overall performance.

Effectively communicate complex technical ideas to various stakeholders with the ability to motivate stakeholders and drive towards a vision.

Foster a professional and collegial work environment.

Minimum Requirements

10+ years of executive leadership experience managing large-scale IT systems.

8 years of people management experience with a minimum of 5 years managing managers.

Critical Skills

Extensive experience in IT infrastructure management.

Strong ability to navigate and resolve complex operational challenges, including those involving data security, disaster recovery, and system monitoring.

Expertise in evaluating and managing security across multiple platforms.

Strong oversight experience in regulatory compliance and implementing data governance best practices.

Proven track record in strategic API development and adoption.

Working familiarity with federal procurement and government contracting processes is preferred.

Ability to drive improvements in data privacy and accuracy performance.

Experience in system re-engineering.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and professionally.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in healthcare IT systems highly desired.

Familiarity with federal procurement and government contracting processes.

Experience acting as a key personnel / point of contact on behalf of a company for government contract deliverables.

Education

Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related IT field of study, or 4-year degree and equivalent level of professional experience required.
