Job Summary:The Senior Vice President, Information Technology oversees the development, planning, implementation, maintenance and execution of the organization's information systems strategy to support business objectives and drive innovation. Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the IT department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective technology solutions.Essential Job Duties:Responsible for the overall management, long term strategy and execution of information technology for the organization.Ensures the creation and execution of the organization’s Disaster Recovery, Incident Response, and Business Continuity plans.Establish relationships and build roadmaps with internal and external business units.Provide IT resources as needed to work with the Project Management Office to help ensure project requirements, timelines, and expectations are met.Responsible for corporate office facilities and security.Responsible for the Service Desk, Infrastructure, Procurement, Information Security, and Application Development.Leverage all available metrics to improve the delivery of all IT staffing and services.Responsible for the security, stability, and high availability of critical business systems.Responsible for the overall capacity utilization and health of the server/hardware environments.Sr. IT Steering member on all larger PMO projects.Provides technical advocacy for assigned applications to IT Directors and Managers assisting them with high level planning or issue resolution.Approve all internal policies and procedures including data governance.Establish vendor relationships, negotiate, and approve larger hardware, software, and managed services contracts.Develop and manage relationships with vendors in support of staff augmentation and system support.Overall responsibility for the IT budget including strategic forecasting and quarterly updates.Communicates clearly and presents to the team, management, board, and stakeholders where needed.Serve as escalation contact for all critical decisions.Create and maintain a three-year security, staffing and infrastructure model to accommodate projected business growth.Creates development plans for direct reports and promotes staff development.Support, actively participate, and act in accordance with Wright’s culture of safety and employee ownership.Comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintains knowledge of and follow all company policies and procedures.Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings.Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills & Ability Requirements:In-depth knowledge of, and experience working with, a mature Project Management Office.Sound understanding of various departments within the organization and IT’s relationship and commitment to each.Champion for internal policies and procedures (standards, controls, and metrics).Ability to use advanced knowledge of professional concepts and company objectives to resolve overly complex issues in creative and effective ways.Experience collaborating with a distributed workforce across multiple geographical locations.Superior negotiation skills in both internal and external settings.Strong organizational skills including the ability to develop strategies and work plans.Proficient at preparing and delivering formal presentations to a variety of audiences when required.Comfortable with escalating complex issues.Education, Certification & Experience Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering/Science or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.10+ years of developing and managing IT budgets.15+ years of overall IT management experience at an IT Director level or equivalent.Benefit Summary:Full-Time employees within Wright Service Corp are eligible for the following:Medical (HDHP & PPO), Dental, and Vision.401k and 401k match.ESOP (Employee Ownership Program).Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick, Floating Holidays).Paid Parental & Family Care Leave.Company Paid STD, LTD, and Life Insurance.Paid Volunteer Time.And More...Learn more at
