Responsibilities
Peraton is looking for an Information Technology Specialist (ITS) to provide services to monitor servers, applications, systems, and databases. The (ITS) will provide desktop support including workstation setup and password assignments. The (ITS) shall deploy configuration changes and updates on all servers and workstations. The (ITS) will monitor network router/switch status, respond to network alarms, and address associated problems.
Qualifications
Five (5) years of experience with the following:
Providing services to monitor servers, applications, systems, and databases.
Providing desktop support including workstation setup and password assignments.
Deploying configuration changes and updates on all servers and workstations.
Monitoring network router/switch status, responding to network alarms, and addressing associated problems.
Active Top Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain SCI and poly.
5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD (additional experience may be used in lieu of a degree).
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer and Information Security, Computer Security, and/or Network Administration from an accredited university/college; or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related scientific/technical field (Additional education, training, certifications, or work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree or work experience at the Government's discretion.)
Minimum/General Experience: The ITS shall have five (5) years of experience deploying network configurations, test/troubleshooting activities, planning and executing patch management strategy, and maintaining version control of systems such as VMWare, OpenStack, Microsoft Windows, Linux, and Mac/Unix based systems.
The ITS shall have experience in configuration and troubleshooting of local and remote systems, virtualization, Active Directory, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Domain Name System (DNS), Distributed File System (DFS), File and Printer servers.

Target Salary Range
$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
