Our team owns key customer-facing features like X-Ray, Notes/Highlights, Popular highlights, Search inside a book, PhotoQuotes, and many more. We own these features end-to-end. We are responsible for the backend micro-service architecture, the ML that powers these features, as well as the seamless CX on iOS, Android, and E-reader.Minimum Qualifications:

4+ years of software development or technical support experienceExperience troubleshooting and debugging technical systemsExperience in UnixExperience scripting in modern programming languagesExperience in agile/scrum or related collaborative workflowB.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical fieldKnowledge of Java-based technologiesUnderstanding of XML/SOAP, web services, workflow modeling, web application developmentAbility to write intermediate level database queriesKnowledge of distributed applications/enterprise applicationsKnowledge of UNIX/Linux operating systemExperience analyzing and troubleshooting RESTful web API calls
