Associate is responsible for operating high speed scanners to capture images of loan, supporting and trailing documents. Assigned responsibilities also include mitigation of risk through validation of image quality and accurate indexing for prevention of Unintended Customer Information Disclosures. The associate is also responsible for import of documents and storage management of the loan files for retention policy adherence and for assurance loans are pledgeable to FRB or FHLB. In addition, the position may be responsible for processing consumer releases.

Principle Duties and ResponsibilitiesImage, import and QA incoming loan related documents.Monitor image quality at time of imaging to ensure legibility of documents.Accurately index documents to prevent Unintended Customer Information Disclosures.Quality Review of department imaging for adherence to policy and procedures.Maintain tracking system for files checked in and out of the file vault.Accurately prepare documents for offsite storage according to bank and regulatory retention policies.Possess strong knowledge of policy, procedures and SLAs for assigned responsibilities.Accurately process consumer releases.Prepare and file UCCs on consumer equity loans.Perform miscellaneous administrative duties as assigned.

Position RequirementsCandidates must possess 1+ years experience working with loan documentation, preferably doing imaging, QA or indexing documents. Basic knowledge of consumer and commercial loan documents and applicable regulations is also required.Basic knowledge of the Uniform Commercial Code, Regulation B, C, Z, RESPA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other federal and state regulations on lending and consumer compliance.Good PC skills including word processing and spreadsheet applications.Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communications skills.Excellent customer service skills.Must be organized and be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.Must be punctual and have strong attendance record.Strong ability to work cooperatively with all personality types and communication styles.Strong attention to detail while maintaining efficiency.
