R78504Would you like to develop your career in our great team?About our TeamAs a leading Clinical Informatics Specialist in our Global Health Informatics team, you will provide support to Key Client Accounts in collaboration with the Health Informatics Technical Specialist and Project Manager in executing the CDS Implementation Methodology to achieve implementations that are on time and within budget. You will be responsible for setting, monitoring and documenting the client workplans and timelines to ensure that implementation projects are delivered within time and budget. A key responsibility is to ensure customer success and support the account managers and Product Specialist.About the RoleAs a Clinical Informatics Specialist within our Global Health Informatics team, you will primarily be responsible for successfully leading clients through the phases of the Elsevier Health Informatics Triple I (Installation, Integration, Implementation) Methodology for the Elsevier Clinical Decision Support Solutions: Elsevier Care Planning, our evidence-based clinical content and Interprofessional Care Planning solution, Order Sets, our evidence-based order set content and content management tool; and other Elsevier solutions requiring EHR integrations.ResponsibilitiesHealth Informatics works with various electronic medical record (EMR) platforms and applications (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, InterSystems, Philips Tasy, etc.). The CIS functions as a liaison between the Elsevier Clinical Solutions Content and Product teams, Clients, and Client-specific EHR project implementation team members. The CIS is responsible for establishing a collaborative working relationship and facilitating communication between the Elsevier Clinical Solutions teams, the client’s EHR implementation resources, and the EHR vendor team.The CIS provides both clinical and technical expertise grounded in evidence-based practices and clinical informatics theory to leverage the technical and functional capabilities of the EHR applications to achieve optimal clinical workflows and clinician adoption and use of the Elsevier solutions within the EHR.The CIS will also provide the requisite education and training services to both the technical and clinical teams at the client organizations to ensure high degrees of clinician adoption, satisfaction, and improved patient outcomes.The CIS is part of the Elsevier Clinical Solutions Health Informatics Team and under the oversight of the VP of Health Informatics. This position reports to the VP of Health Informatics.Role expected around 80% travel time in the MEA region, mainly in the Middle East (Sunday - Thursday).RequirementsLicensed health care clinician (MD, Registered Nurse or Allied Health, Pharmacist)Health care project management professional (PMP) preferredHIT/EMR (Health Care Information Technology/Electronic Medical Record) implementation experienceMD or minimum Bachelors level preparation (BSN, BS), prefer Masters level preparation in discipline or expertise (PharmD, MSN, MS)5 years or more of clinical informatics experience preferredMinimum of 2 years of working experience in Saudi Arabia preferredPrior experience with direct HIT/EHR product consulting, configuration and/or product management (experience with clinical documentation, order sets and care planning configuration preferred)Experience with relational database(s) preferredProficiency with MS OfficeExcellent English oral and written communication skills; Arabic an advantageStrong customer service skillsProfessional and trustworthy presenceOur CompanyElsevier is a global information analytics company that helps institutions and professionals progress science, advance healthcare and improve performance for the benefit of humanity.
