The CT Technologist, under direct supervision, uses computerized tomography scanners to produce cross-section images of patients' internal organs and tissues for diagnosis of medical issues.We are currently offering a $7500 sign-on bonus to newly hired Techs!Summary of Essential Duties:Accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructionsAdminister contrast materialPrepare and operate CT scan equipmentAbility to position patient to capture appropriate imagesSend images to Radiologist for interpretation/readingCleans and disinfects patient roomsFollow infection control and safety guidelinesSign-on bonus is available to new hires only. Current employees are not eligible.
Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of a JRCERT accredited School of Radiologic Technology program requiredLicensure/Certifications:
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiology certification (ARRT-R) requiredCalifornia Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification requiredAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologists CT certification (ARRT-CT) preferred or willing to obtain within 1 year from start dateBasic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association requiredVenipuncture certification requiredExperience:
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Scan Technologist requiredExperience in a hospital setting required, including Emergency Department and inpatient casesExperience with Trauma and Stroke patients requiredExperience with advanced exams, including Angio of abdomen or head and neck, required
