Under general supervision of the Manager of Outpatient Psychiatry Services La Jolla, the Lead Therapist - General Psychiatry provides all aspects of psychosocial mental and behavioral health services including primarily brief short-term individual and group therapy, diagnostic evaluations, assessments, treatment planning, care coordination, and case management. The therapist will work closely with clinical and administrative leadership to improve access to care and foster collaboration across UCSD Health psychiatry settings and programs, including Inpatient Psychiatry. The lead therapists will also be responsible for overseeing case management procedures and coordination to best connect patients to psycho-social and community resources. Master's degree in a related mental health area.A valid California license as a mental health provider (LMFT, LCSW or LPCC) in good standing.A minimum of two (2) years post MSW experience.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
