The Director of the Counseling Clinic oversees and manages all aspects and day-to-day operations of the Center for Community Counseling & Development (CCCD) and works collaboratively with the counseling faculty to develop future plans for the CCCD. The Director also provides clinical supervision of on-site practicum and/or internship students.Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in a mental health related field.Unrestricted Michigan license in either MSW, LP, LMFT, or LPC.Proficient with computer programs such as Microsoft Office 365.Ability to learn various computer programs including Electronic Health Record (EHR) software.Demonstrated effective communication, organization, and collaboration skills.Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.Preferred Qualifications

LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), BC-TMH (Board Certified Tele-mental Health Provider), and ACS (Approved Clinical Supervisor) credentials.One year of experience as a clinical supervisor.Two years of clinical supervision experience.Experience with tele-mental health.Experience in group counseling.Experience in marketing and business management.Completion of clinical supervision training.Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.Duties & Responsibilities

Outreach & Marketing:Manages all aspects of the Community Counseling & Development Center (CCCD), follows the agency mission, sets goals and objectives for the CCCD, participates in the development of long-range strategic planning, represents the CCCD and Central Michigan University in the community, and develops and supports ongoing partnerships.Administrative Duties:Oversees and ensures the proper handling and management of mental health records for clinical reporting and research purposes, collaborates with other center staff who provide clinical supervision to counselors-in-training, works with the HIPAA Compliance Office, IT Health Care, and the CMU Counseling Program to ensure HIPAA compliance.Clinic Oversight Responsibilities:Provides on-site clinic coverage and crisis management clinical supervision to counselors-in-training as needed when the clinic is open.Supervision Exercised
