Lead analytics projects and collaborate with stakeholders to complete end-to-end analyses.Conduct advanced statistical analysis to determine trends and significant data relationships.Develop complex data sets and predictive models to support key business decisions.Prepare and deliver insightful presentations and actionable recommendations.Identify and evaluate new technologies to advance the organization’s analytics capabilities.Implement new methodologies for modeling or analysis.Discover insights from Big Data to meet business needs and goals.Translate business goals into data-based deliverables.Champion self-service reporting and the use of Business Intelligence and statistical tools.Develop data and analytical processes based on Continuous Improvement practices.This role requires you to have:
Bachelor's or higher degree in a quantitative field.Experience in data analytics or computer programming.Intermediate- to advanced-level skills in data mining and statistical analysis.Programming skills in SQL, C/C++, Java, R, Python, or SAS.Skills in applied research design and machine learning.Ability to articulate business questions and pull data from relational databases.Experience with advanced Excel and statistical tools.You would benefit from having:
PhD in Data Science.Experience in quantitative analytics.Knowledge in data modeling and complex SQL queries.Experience with SAP Business Intelligence tools.Continuous Improvement knowledge and certifications.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Experience in the utility or energy industry.This description outlines the general nature of the job.
