Systems Engineering Support Analyst
to support a proprietary program in the Herndon, Virginia area. This unique role requires an understanding of engineering processes and the ability to communicate engineering requirements into a contractually sound technical baseline. The individual must be enthusiastic and hands on in their approach and possess excellent organizational, leadership, and written and verbal communication skills. The individual must be able to work in a dynamic team environment and collaborate with several types of engineering disciplines to execute tasks on-quality and on-time. This position is a day shift position with on-call and occasional shift work.Position Responsibilities:Collaborate across multiple disciplines to achieve critical project milestonesLead process engineering and continuous improvement activitiesAnalysis of risks, issues, and opportunitiesAnalysis of impacts to operational teamsTesting and validation to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirementsCertify and cross train in other program areas as requiredThis position is expected to be fully onsite in Herndon, VA.This position requires an

(A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.Willing to support a 24/7 on-call environment1+ years of experience with Systems Engineering1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Tools, Word, Excel, PowerPointPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience contributing to system engineering projectsExperience tracing requirements to incorporate into engineering designExperience using web-based tools such as MS SharePointExperience with designing, developing, integrating and maintaining new software functionalityExperience with computer tools and other technologies using test plans and procedures to verify requirementsExperience across a breadth of disciplines including hardware, software, systems and testExperience with the aerospace industry and its productsTypical Education/Experience:(Associate, Level 2): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master, 6 year's related work experience, etc.).(Experienced, Level 3): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
