Cloud Engineer, LeadKey Role:

Manage, administer, support, and enhance cloud environments, ensuring continuous improvement and rapid problem resolution. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts. Contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision. Mentor or supervise employees in both firm and technical competencies.

Basic Qualifications:

5+ years of experience with DevOps and designing and deploying scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on cloud platforms in a DoD or government environment

3+ years of experience with Red Hat Linux (RHEL) and command-line interfaces

Experience with scripting languages, including Bash, Ansible, YAML, or Python

Experience with Amazon Web Services, using Infrastructure as a Code (IaC) with Terraform

Experience with containerization, using Docker and Rancher Kubernetes, specifically RKE2

Ability to develop solutions across software and hardware to solve problems and implement enhancements, including technical documentation

Ability to travel up to 20% of the time

Secret clearance

Bachelor's degree in a technological field

IAT Level II Certification

Additional Qualifications:

Knowledge of Agile methodologies including Jira

Knowledge of cloud security principles

Ability to maintain security standards and compliance with industry regulations in the cloud environment

Ability to display a portfolio of relevant cloud projects or contributions to open-source projects

Ability to work collaboratively within a team

AWS Certified Solutions Architect, MS Azure Associate, or Cloud Security Knowledge Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

The projected compensation range for this position is $110,100.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
