The role requires a highly organized person who demonstrates a very keen attention to detail, a high level of proficiency with Excel, comfort synthesizing large data sets into concrete insights, an understanding of financial concepts, and strong communication skills.Note:
This is a hybrid position in either Dallas, TX or NYC (Mon/Wed/Thurs in office). Dallas office is located near Uptown. NYC office is located near Chelsea.What You’ll Do:Development and maintenance of sophisticated financial models used for forecasting, strategic decision-making, and capital allocationOngoing monitoring and analysis of critical metrics and business trends with regular updates provided to senior managementAssist in the preparation of weekly reporting that highlights the operational results, forecasts, and business plans of the company’s various divisions and subsidiariesIdentify and analyze operational problems and recommend effective solutionsWork cross-functionally with various departments and leaders within the FP&A team to execute objectives under strict internal and external timelinesMeet with budget owners across the organization to review monthly variances and build forecasts for opex spending within their departmentsOwn all headcount and salary planning across the organization by working closely with hiring managers and the compensation team to deliver accurate hiring forecastWho You Are:3+ years of experience in a finance/analytics role in a corporate environmentExperience in the tech industry, management consulting, or investment banking is a plus1+ years of experience building complicated financial models with a focus on efficiencyProven understanding of finance, accounting, economics, and statisticsStrong analytical skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to contribute successfully to cross-functional teamsFor a list of our Perks + Benefits, click

$115,000-$125,000The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the national salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Care.com’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives. In addition, Care.com provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life, and disability insurance, a generous 401K employer matching program, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
