What you’ll do:
Develop the roadmap for translating month end, forecast, and AOP Financial data requirements into PowerBI
Review existing PowerBI tables and implement data structure improvements in coordination with the IT team as needed
Lead the strategy and implementation of translating Financial data into Power BI, while supporting overall Financial Systems/Tools roadmap to streamline internal reporting and data management
Champion continuous improvement & efficiencies in financial planning and analysis activities; partner with FP&A Manager and Financial Analyst(s) to implement process improvement initiatives
Support the preparation & consolidation of monthly reporting packages including management presentations, key performance indicators, forecasts & variance analysis.
Partner cross-functionally/sectors to generate more accurate financial and business reporting and to understand drivers vs. prior forecast, plan, and prior year
Coordinate with Director and Scottsdale leadership team as needed to align with FP&A directives/initiatives
Support the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process
Assist with FP&A integration activities related to acquisitions
Ensure business KPIs (corporate scorecard) and data are accurate and effectively distributed to key stakeholders
Oversee the management reporting structure in the Company’s Oracle ERP (Financial Statement Generation – FSG)
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance (or MBA); CPA designation preferred but not required
Proficient in Power BI, including building tables
Proficient in data management and Financial Systems
5 years of experience in FP&A
Experience with IT and/or business analytics
Advanced analytical & financial modeling skills
High degree of proficiency with MS Excel & PowerPoint
Detail-oriented with strong organization skills & ability to multi-task, prioritize and delegate responsibilities in an effective & efficient manner
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and develop ad hoc, unstructured analysis
Preferred Characteristics:
Aerospace finance experience, preferably with an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Maintenance Repair & Overhaul (MRO), or associated vendor/supplier to the aerospace industry preferred but not required.
Strong awareness of IT functions and working alongside IT teams
