Become a part of our tight-knit, established team of four physicians and two advanced practice providers (APPs) in the Mount Vernon, NY area.
Work within a structured team environment with one physician and one APP during the day shift, and a dedicated physician covering the night shift.
Collaborate closely with our APPs, who manage patients alongside supervising physicians.
Join a team that represents a diverse background from NYC, NJ, and the Hudson Valley.
Participate in all medical staff meetings and committees, ensuring a culture of shared decision-making and professional development.
Our Practice
We’re proud to serve as a Level 3 trauma community hospital, boasting a 130-year legacy.
Our facility includes a 15-bed census for medical and surgical patients, a 5-bed ICU, and 22 inpatient psychiatry beds, all expertly staffed by Sound Physicians.
Located just outside the Bronx, we provide care to a diverse patient population, with a low-volume ED and high acuity, offering essential specialty services in cardiology, gastroenterology, neurology, and more.
We’re a designated primary receiving stroke center and a geriatric accredited emergency department.
Our outpatient clinic operates conveniently on-site, adjacent to the main building.
We gather as a team bi-monthly, promoting a culture of support and flexibility to accommodate personal and outdoor pursuits.
Compensation:
$150,000-$165,000 annually
Benefits:
Medical, dental, vision, life and AD&D insurance, long- and short-term disability, 401k with match, paid medical malpractice and tail coverage, and annual CME allowance.
