I’m the regional medical director for Montefiore Westchester Square, located in The Bronx, New York. I have been a part of Sound for eight years. I’m proud of the emergency medicine practice we have built, and I welcome interest from physician assistants coming out of training or desiring a career change. people, practice, and purpose , as you consider options:
People
We are a closely-knit, established team of physicians with strong PA leadership.
Our group comes from various areas in the Tri-state Area -NYC, NJ, and Hudson Valley.
I am involved in all medical staff meetings and committees.
Practice
Thrive in New York’s first free-standing emergency department.
Cater to a diverse patient population with a low-volume ED with high acuity directly, providing a dynamic and challenging work environment.
Single physician coverage ensures a focused and independent approach to medical decision-making and treatment provision.
We maintain strong connections through team meetings bi-monthly.
Recognizing the importance of family and spending time outdoors, we offer a flexible schedule. We’re always there to support each other when covering shifts.
The expected annual compensation for this role is between $115k – $144k, depending upon experience.
Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D insurance, long- and short-term disability, 401k with match, paid medical malpractice and tail coverage, and annual CME allowance.
