This position is located in El Dorado, Arkansas. The Program Director in Community Health and Research is responsible for providing oversight and direction for multiple community-based programs for the Institute for Community Health Improvement. This position works closely with the Sr. Director of Community Program, Project Managers, faculty, and others to connect, collaborate, and develop implementation plans for multi-faceted community health programs. The community program director ensures collaboration and connection across projects and departments, ensuring high-impact outcomes. He/she is also responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders and is responsible for ensuring objectives are met for funded federal projects. Additionally, the program director monitors multiple budgets and monitors program activities across projects.Qualifications:Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field plus five (5) years of related experience with managerial level experience.Experience with Microsoft Office.Preferred QualificationsValid Registered Nursing License.Masters Degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field.At least two (2) years of supervisory experience.Four (4) years of clinical experience.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong understanding of community health research and program development.Proven experience in managing community-based programs, preferably in public health or healthcare settings.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.Ability to analyze data and interpret research findings to inform program design and implementation.Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team and to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.Familiarity with research methodologies and evaluation techniques.Ability to work independently and interdependently.Ability to work under deadline pressure.Additional Information:Key ResponsibilitiesProvides high-level leadership of community-based programs by working with senior-level leadership, managers, and others to create action plans and project implementation plans and ensure high-impact programs are developed and executed. Will facilitate the connection and collaboration between multiple community-based programs across the organization and will work across assistant projects to eliminate duplication of activities and create strategies for connecting programs, ensuring success and effectiveness across teams.Develops and maintains a strong understanding of Northwest Arkansas community-based organizations, programs, and services to align Community Health and Research work within the region. Will work with the team and community organizations to identify and understand gaps or connections to ensure collaboration with external partners in the execution of community programs. Develops and maintains strong relationships with community partnerships to establish the team's ability to implement high-impact community programs that are connected to and in collaboration with community partners across the region.Works with the communications team to plan quality external and internal communication documents.Manages multiple federally funded awards and contracts to ensure fiscal responsibility and contract execution and management.May perform other duties as assigned.Salary Information:
